A ‘blue collar’ man wearing a common man’s face but his ‘fingers in all the criminal pies’ was caught by a two member team of senior police officers in Palamu.
SP Palamu Chandan Kumar Sinha at his press conference today first pointed his two IPS officers K Vijay Shankar and Kapil Choudhury who as Sinha said ‘got this blue collar man Shakti Singh who has no criminal case until he was caught as his manoeuvring was for a veteran gangster Dabloo Singh.’
Sinha even described himself as a great lucky man to have these two officers Shankar and Kapil said people who work for criminals or gangsters by proxy there is a death knell for them now in Palamu.
Sinha said that Shakti Singh is such a face who thrives and prospers on the ill gotten money of the gangster Dabloo Singh believing his innocent exterior will never land him in the net of the police.
However K Vijay Shankar and Kapil Choudhury proved Shakti wrong. He was remanded in judicial custody today.
SP Sinha said his arrest is a strong siren to all those people who roll in luxury of gangster’s ill gotten money as our Palamu police will reach such people’s throats one day or the other.
Sinha said such blue in appearance but shady in action people even if they try to hide in other states will be fished out by us.
This Shakti Singh was taken for interrogation first in Orissa’s Puri where he had gone for the post death rites of someone along with one other person. This other man found with Shakti Singh is being interrogated, said the SP.
As there were two licensed guns in the name of Shakti Singh who has been remanded in judicial custody today police invoking arms act seized his two licensed guns along with the ammunition and will move to the district arms officer the DC to pass order for the cancellation of the license of weapons and ammunition of Shakti Singh.
SP said our police have found many pass books and cheque books in the house of Shakti Singh which would be scrutinized to find out if this man was involved in any money laundering also for the gangster Dabloo Singh as OC town police station A K Mahatha said we have found the aadhar card and pan card of the gangster Dabloo Singh in the house of Shakti Singh which raises our eyebrows towards high investment of money of Dabloo Singh.
