Director General of Police (DGP) Vivek Johri felicitated eight police personnel at their retirement and presented bouquets of flowers and souvenirs to all and wished them a healthy, prosperous and happy life. Orders were also given to the retired employees to pay their various claims at a farewell programme of retired police personnel at police state headquarters on Friday.
Additional Director General of Police Adarsh Katiyar, Vijay Kataria, G.P. Singh, Anil Kumar, Milind Kanashkar and other officers, employees and relatives of retired employees were
present.
Acting Inspector Nafees Hussain Qazi retired from Police Headquarters, Subedar (A) Sharda Chaudhary, Sub-Inspector Govind Singh Mehra, Sub-Inspector (A) Purushottam Singh Rajput, Acting Sub-Inspector (A) Ramesh Prasad Sahu, Assistant Sub-Inspector (A) Iftekhar Mohammad Khan, Assistant Sub Inspector (A) Madhu Chaudhary and Principal Constable (A) Dhanbahadur Thapa were given a farewell by the Police Headquarters family on their retirement.
On the occasion, Director General of Police Johri said that pending cases of pension, provident fund and gratuity of retired police personnel should be disposed of at the earliest.
He was addressing the retiring personnel at the programme of eight police personnel who got their retirement on Friday.
He instructed to complete the document work of benefits of the employees which would be retiring next year and special efforts for all kinds of rectification in the GPF account should be made and discrepancies should be sent to the accounts general for making corrections.
Assistant Inspector General of Police Welfare Branch, Richa Choubey shared contributions on the tenure of the retired employees. The officers present at the farewell function appreciated the hard work and dedication of all the retired employees.
