The 2nd National Electrical Safety Week (NESW) campaign 2021 kicked off at TSTPS Kaniha on June 26 with flag hoisting by unit's Executive Director Sudip Nag.
GM (O&M) Shivam Sivastava, GM (Operation) P Siva Ramakrishna, GM (Maintenance) HN Chakraborty, GM (Projects) RN Das, GM (Ash Dyke and Ash Utilisation) Sarit Maheshwari were present on the occasion, besides AGM (EMD) and Safety Department Brajaraj Rath and their team members.
Safety pledge was administered online by Nag. In his speech, Nag talked about the electrical safety initiatives being taken up by Talcher Kaniha like usage of strict PTW system, use of arc flash suits and various training programmes being undertaken by the plant. Nag restated that with continuous improvements and strong team commitment by one and all, a very safe working environment will continue to be ensured in the future also.
