House of Assistant Director of Education Department at Shivaji Nagar was targeted by miscreants and a licensed pistol and valuables worth Rs 3 lakh were stolen; victim lodged complaint after she came back after treatment of Corona.
Police said that the victim Usha Singh was admitted to Narmada hospital after she tested positive for Corona and when she returned and checked valuables they were found stolen.
The victim’s husband Naresh Pal Singh in his complaint stated that his wife was undergoing treatment and he used to visit house frequently as he had to take care of his wife. She was admitted on May 5 and when she got healthy she returned on May 28, after she checked almirah a licensed pistol and gold jewelry worth Rs 3 lakh were found stolen.
Family and domestic help were questioned but nothing was found regarding the valuables after which victim approached police and lodged a complaint.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under sections 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
