A Safety Audit was conducted under the Inter Railway Safety Audit by Shiv Kumar Prasad, Principal Chief Safety Officer, East Central Railway at the Ranchi Railway Division on Friday.
On this occasion, ADRM MM Pandit and Branch Officer and Amresh Kumar, Chief Engineer (Traction) of ECR, Atul Priyadarshi, Chief Rolling Stock Engineer (Coaching), MK Srivastava, Chief Signal Engineer, Chief Electrical Engineer RP Bharti, Deputy Chief Safety Officer (Power) PK Saxena and Principal Chief Safety Officer, RK Srivastava were present on the occasion.
During the inspection, the Principal Chief Safety Officer first inspected the electronic interlocking of Ranchi railway station and the points and crossings of Ranchi yard, followed by the coaching depot, sick line, pit line, accident relief medical vehicle located at Hatia railway station.
He conducted a detailed inspection and inspected the medical equipment available in the accident relief medical vehicle.
After inspection at the coaching depot, the officials planted trees.
After this, a detailed inspection of the level crossing gate number HB-1 between Hatia - Balsering station was carried out.
After inspection, all the officers held a meeting with the Divisional Railway Manager Neeraj Ambastha and other branch officers in the Divisional Office Hall and held a detailed discussion on safety.
The Principal Chief Safety Officer urged all the officers and employees to always have safety in railway operations and be cautious. He appreciated the efforts being made for safety in Ranchi Railway Division and expressed satisfaction and gave directions for improvement where there is a need for improvement.

Oraon, Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer (General) Kuldeep Kumar and other branch officers and other officers were present.
