The students of Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag can get degrees and all educational documents online. Now the students need not come to headquarters for the educational documents.

The VBU became the first university of the State, whose examination department has been fully computerised.

Vice-Chancellor Mukul Dev Naryan said that before the computerisation of the examination department, the students came to university headquarters after forwarding the application from the college authority.

It was a long process. The poor students also came under the financial burden.

To provide relief to the students, the university authorities were working on the system for the last one year.

“At last we got the success and the online system has been introduced by the university for the students,” he said.

He added before applying the students have to register on the university portal. After registration a message will come on the mobile set with OTP number. On the portal different panels will be available. The students will choose according to their demand.

After the registration the students will deposit the required fees. Receiving the fees and all related information the soft copy of the document will be sent to the students on mail. They will also get the receipt online.

The original copy of the certificates will be sent to students by speed post. The students can also enquiry through the tracking ID.

The Vice Chancellor said that with this system the students’ time and money will be saved and students will get great relief also.
