The threat of Corona infection looms large due to flouting of Covid guidelines in Pallahara sub-division.
In this regard, a memorandum has been presented before Sub-Collector Pallahara by the Press Club on Wednesday. Since starting of the second wave of Corona, 171 positive cases have been detected in just a few days in Pallahara. The thickly populated areas are more vulnerable. About 6,144 people have already taken vaccines till date.
The Coronavirus testing cannot be saturated due to lack of testing kits, said Sub-Collector Ajit Pradhan. The local administration has made one enforcement team to check the violations of Covid guidelines, he added.
Club president Dr Santosh Kumar Dehury, general secretary Susil Samal, vice president Tusar Kanta Mahanty, Bishnu Prasad Behera and other executive members were present.
