Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reviewed the progress of the works of one thousand bedded temporary hospital which is going to be constructed near Bina Refinery. Chouhan instructed the officers to start the hospital within the time-limit. Additional Chief Secretary Mohammad Suleman, Principal Secretary Neeraj Mandloi, Commissioner Health Akash Tripathi were also present in the virtual review meeting.

Chouhan instructed to ensure arrangements in relation to construction of hospital as per the time line. It was informed that the final design of the hospital has been prepared. Two compressors have been arranged to compress the oxygen gas in the hospital. The process of installing them will be completed soon. Chouhan said that while preparing the report of the hospital project the parallel paper work should also be completed for the competent approval. Divisional and state level committees should also be constituted to review the project.

Additional Chief Secretary Suleman said that this hospital will be a referral. Only patients referred by other hospitals will be seen in it. He said that the direct OPD's patients will not be attended right now. In relation to the direct OPD, a decision will be taken in future as per the circumstances. He informed that a 800 meter long pipeline is being laid from the plant to the hospital. Pipes will come for this in a couple of days. Line laying work will start soon. Principal Secretary Neeraj Mandloi informed that the work of bed-to-bed pipeline inside the hospital is in progress, which will be completed in 8 to 10 days.

It is noteworthy that 1000-bed temporary hospital is being built in Chakka village near Bina Refinery. There is availability of oxygen gas in Bina but as it cannot be transported through cylinders, the hospital is being constructed in Bina itself. This will also enable the use of available oxygen and local patients will also be able to get in-place treatment.
