Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that due to the continuous efforts of all and active support of the people, now the corona infection is coming down in the State. A large number of patients are getting healthy and going home. The effect of Janata curfew is beginning to be seen in the state.
Chouhan was taking a meeting of the members of the core group today through video conferencing from the residence regarding the status and arrangements of the corona in the state. The concerned ministers and officials attended the meeting through VC.
Chouhan said that the number of active patients of Corona in the state had increased to more than 94,000, which is now 92,077. In the last 24 hours, 13,363 patients have gone home healthy. The number of active corona patients has decreased by 696.
He said that the corona positivity rate of the state is also declining continuously. The state's weekly average positivity rate is 22.7%. There were 55 thousand 694 active patients in the state on April 15 and 84,957 active patients on April 22, while on April 29, there are 92,077 active patients.
District wise review found that 1811 new Corona cases have been reported in Bhopal. There have been 1789 new corona cases in Indore, 920 in Gwalior, 741 in Jabalpur, 348 in Rewa, 308 in Ujjain and 296 in Ratlam.
The Chief Minister said that the availability of oxygen in the state is continuously increasing. Oxygen is coming to Madhya Pradesh from all three by air, rail and road. The state received 568.76 metric tonnes of oxygen on 28 April. Chief Minister Chouhan instructed that all districts should use oxygen as required. Do not waste oxygen unnecessarily.
