Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan virtually inaugurated 156 micro small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) on Thursday during the program held at Impact Industry Sejwani Pithampur industrial area. 36 MSMEs have started functioning where as other 120 industries are in different stages of construction and start functioning very soon.
An investment of total Rs 13800 crore has been done in the establishment of 156 MSMEs which includes automobile, food, pharma, packaging, rubber and various other sectors of industries and around 20000 people will get job in these industries including the women employees. The GM of MSME Pithampur zone Sunil Tripathi told The Pioneer that around 940 MSMEs are presently functional in all the 6 sectors of Pithampur industrial area and now this 156 MSMEs will also join the elite club of 940 MSMEs already functional.
It is to be noted that Pithampur industrial area is doing well in MSMEs as one of the owners of MSME Pithampur zone Seema Mishra also received the award from the central MSME minister Nitin Gadkari for best upcoming MSME industry on international women’s day.
The woman entrepreneur Seema Mishra has started a handloom cluster in Dhamnod where she has given employment to 380 women. MSME minister MP Omprakash Sakelcha , Vivek Porwal secretary MSME and Bhaskar Lakshkar director MSME were also virtually present during the inauguration while Chatar Singh Darbar MP Dhar- Mhow Lok Sabha, MLA Dhar Neena Vikram Verma, Malti Mohan Patel president zila panchayat Dhar and Kavita Sanjay Vaishnav president Nagar Palika Pithamur and ex MLA Dhar Karan Singh Pawar were present physically during the inauguration ceremony.
