After roping in senior leaders including several Union Ministers including Prahlad Patel and senior Ministers from MP Narottam Mishra and Vishwas Sarang in West Bengal Assembly polls, Bharatiya Janata Party has decided to use services of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the upcoming Assembly polls.
Chouhan is to take part in Parivartan Rally of the party scheduled in Howrah on Sunday. The Chief Minister who contrary to his ‘secular’ image has been exhibiting his ‘Hindutva’ side of late, has left for Kolkata on Saturday evening.
Chouhan who bounced back to power last year in March after losing the same to Congress party in year 2018, had been a different version of himself in the fourth term in power. An otherwise subdued Chouhan had remained stern in governance and more inclined towards RSS like governing, of late.
Sources claimed that CM Shivraj’s rallies and public meetings are also scheduled in West Bengal on March 2 as well.
