Bharat petroleum corporation limited BPCL Pithampur Dhar team and NDRF Bhopal conducted chemical biological radical and nuclear CBRN mock drill. The drill was jointly conducted by the NDRF Bhopal and NDRF Dhar under the guidance of NDRF commandant Manoj Kumar Sharma.
The main objective of the drill was to save the life of person during any CBRN calamity, to check the response of all the response agencies and to develop the mutual coordination between all the stake holders and also correct any shortcoming of the volunteers engaged in search help and safety operations.
Before the mock drill the NDRF officers and BPCL officers organized a meeting for the action plan of mock drill. NDRF inspector Rahul Kumar lead the 32-member team of NDRF in this drill. Rahul Kumar said that such type of mock drill enhances the strong response system and mutual coordination between the team members.
General manager Pithampur DIC Sunil Tripathi, tehsildar Pithampur Vinod Rathore, assistant director Rajesh Yadav, area manager Shashank Sharma, Lokesh Chandra plant manager BPCL, S INDRF Satyajit Singh, S I Rambhadur Singh and 32 rescuers, civil and police representative were present during the mock drill.
