Strongly condemning the decision of the Uttarakhand Government to appoint more position holders, the Aam Adami Party (AAP) has alleged that in order to provide favour to people close to him the Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat is burdening the exchequer of the State.
The spokesperson of the state unit of the party, Ravindra Singh Anand today said that on one hand the State Government is finding it hard to pay the salaries of the employees and on other the public money is being spent on the position holders. Claiming that Crores of rupees per month are being spent on position holders, he said that there are more than 100 such persons in the state now.
He said that it is an irony that the employees are forced to go on strike for non-payment of salaries but the CM has appointed 100 persons on different positions.
Anand said that it is clear that these appointments are being done to keep the supporters of CM in good humour as the assembly elections are scheduled next year.
