For the last 20 days, the agitation of contractors is going on continuously in the premises of Shakti Bhawan. This is the first time that the electrical contractors have teamed to protest who have completed work under Saubhagya scheme 3 years ago and still, they were not paid nor any reason was given for non payment.

The condition of electrical contractors and their startups has become very severe and going through financial crisis, the pressure of lenders is so much that they are hesitant to even go home.

Vivek Porwal, chairman of Madhya Pradesh East Zone Electricity Distribution Company, is standing in Jabalpur these days, through the organization, the chairman Vivek  was also discussed and he had also asked to make efforts in this direction. But today it has been 20 days since this incident and no meaningful initiative of any kind has come. The contractors of all the districts are participating in this movement organized under the banner of Madhya Bharat Vidyut Contractors Sangathan.

Chief General Manager Rural Project Ashok Dhruve accepted Ashok Dhruve said that right now some kind of recovery is proposed against the contractors, when the contractor organization was talked about it, they said that we have not given any information about this thing for 3 years. If proper investigation is not done and recovery is forcefully proposed against the contractors which is after 3 years of completion of work, then the contractors will vigorously agitate against it. For this work, a manager of the Chief General Manager Rural Project has taken or paid Rs 200000 per contractor.
