As many as 581 new active cases were found and 11 persons died in 24 hours due to Corona in a day in HMCH and other private hospitals of the district. The maximum active cases found in the municipal areas of the town among new active cases, 70 in sadar block, 19 in Bishnugarh, 19 in Barkagaon, 6 in Choparan, 12 in Churchu, 3 in Tatijharia168 in Ichak and 47 in Katkamsandi, 2 in Katkamdag. The patients are facing the crises of bed and oxygen in Hazaribag Medical College and Hospital. There are 72 beds in the isolation ward. 60 bed capacity was increased by the hospital management. The patients are getting the bed in the hospital.
Former legislator of Barhi assembly Manoj Kumar Yadav has donated regulators and five oxygen cylinders to the sub divisional hospital Barhi. The administration is regularly testing the persons in the district through special drives in the five spots in municipal areas and in the all block headquarters.
