Four people who were buried in the mines during illegal mining in the closed mines of BCCL under Amalabad OP area of the district reached their village safely here on Monday at 3 am after 48 hours.
Police said that the rescue operations were being carried out continuously by the district administration and BCCL to save and get them out. In the same sequence, on Sunday, the NDRF team also reached the accidental spot near abandoned mines and took stock of the incident.
After which rescue was to be done by the NDRF team on Monday morning, but on the same day at 3 am all the four people buried in the mines, came out from mine safely on their own efforts. Later the doctor's team is present along with the police force on the spot.
There is an atmosphere of happiness in all four of the family and the village due to the safe arrival of the four. On the safe return of the four people, preparations are being made to worship the mother Kali of the village.
The family and the people of the village said that this was a miracle. While a team of doctors along with a large number of police forces were also present at the said site.
On November 26, four people were buried due to the fall of the heavy coal stone during illegal mining. After which the rescue was being done by BCCL but failed. Bokaro Deputy Commissioner took the help of NDRF after BCCL's rescue failed after which a 25-member team of NDRF, Ranchi reached the spot on Sunday evening and was to be rescued on Monday.
The incident happened late on Friday evening at the mine located in Parbatpur coal block under Amalabad police outpost and a BCCL special unit were unable to trace them even after 48 hours of the collapse. No formal complaint was filed with the police by the family members so far fearing legal action. The incident came to light only after a few villagers told their colleagues about the incident.
