Officer-in-Charge of Aspiratinal District, Ranchi, cum Secretary NCST, Alka Tiwari today appreciated the fact that Ranchi is among the top 3 in overall progress under the Aspirational Districts. There has been a 36 per cent improvement in the indicators of various departments, she said while chairing the review meeting of the works under Aspirational district, Ranchi.
During the meeting, while reviewing health indicators, projects like ANC kit, model PHC and model CHC were appreciated.
The increase in the number of human resources and practitioners was discussed. In this regard, the Central Government was assured to be made aware.
During the review of education, she emphasised on filling the vacant seats of the teachers and motivating them for better teacher-student interaction.
During the review, Tiwari, the officer-in-charge, directed to pay special attention to the indicators of agriculture so that better results can be obtained.
Tiwari asked the team of District Aspirational District to prepare and submit proposals for new projects so that the projects could be directed to provide a suitable amount to CPSE in Ranchi.
Deputy Commissioner Ranchi Chhavi Ranjan gave detailed information about the work being done in Ranchi district through power point presentation and also informed about the implementation of many innovative works.
During the meeting, DDC Ananya Mittal, Aspirational District Fellow and District level officials of Health, Education etc were present.
