The Chhattisgarh government on Tuesday accorded 16 Chairpersons of boards and corporations ministerial status. Thireen got cabinet status and three the status of minister of state.
The government said it would be up to the boards and corporations to provide them the necessary facilities.
According to an order, the cabinet minister status was given to Chairpersons Ramgopal Agrawal (Nagrik Apurti Nigam), Girish Dewangan (Mining Development Corp), Kuldeep Juneja (Housing Board), Devendra Bahadur Singh (Chhattisgarh State Forest Development Corp), Mithilesh Swarnkar (Chhattisgarh Renewable Energy Development Authority), Shafi Ahmed (Labour Welfare Board), Nitin Trivedi (Text Book Corporation), Arun Vora (Warehouse Corp), Rajendra Tiwari (Khadi and Gramodyog Board), Subhash Dhuppad (Raipur Development Authority), M.R Nishad (Fisheries Board), Dhanesh Patila (Antyavyavsayi Cooperative Finance Corp) and Balkrishna Pathak (Medicinal Plant Board).
The state minister status was given to Chandan Kashyap (Handicraft Development Board), Padma Manhar (Vice Chairperson Chhattisgarh State Schedule Caste Commission), and Nita Lodhi (Vice Chairperson, Antyavyavsayi Cooperative Finance Corp).
