Sunil Gulati, senior-most IAS officer of the 1984 batch of Haryana Cadre who is currently serving as the Chief Resident Commissioner in New Delhi and Special Chief Secretary of the Government of Haryana, will retire on April 30 after his 37 years of public service.
Dr. Sunil Gulati says that after retirement, his primary goal would be to establish "service to the elderly" as respectable employment in India. They will work towards establishing India as a 'Care Capital of the World'.
The family of Dr. Sunil Gulati came from Lailpur (Pakistan) to Agra in 1947. He had completed his B. Tech (Mechanical) education from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur from the year 1977 to the year 1982.
After this completed his M. Tech (Mechanical) education from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi in the year 1982.
After completed his post-graduation education, Dr. Sunil Gulati wanted to go to Vikas Bharti.
Under the guidance of Dr. Gulati, 'Aapsi' an NGO is doing a great work. The ' Aapsi' an NGO has been distributing more than 22 crores of flowering plants per year.
The film on Dr. Ramji Jaimal, the leader of this work, has received 27 international awards.
Dr. Gulati started the Chandigarh branch of 'Sankalp' and was also the Chandigarh President of FAAS. Dr. Gulati says that even after retirement, he will work for 'Seva Bharati'. Dr. Gulati was also associated with Rajiv Dixit's Swadeshi Jagran Manch. All the work of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar was spread in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal and Jammu for 25 years by Dr Gulati. He has always been devoted to service throughout his life. Dr. Gulati has been a hard-working and honest officer since the beginning. They says that they will always be the credit of God and the Government of Haryana for provided opportunities to serve the peoples.
It is notable that the slogan of the Pulse Polio campaign spoken by Amitabh Bachchan" ?? ?? ????? ??? ??? ?? ??????? ???? ??? ???( Ek bhi bachcha chut gaya to Suraksha chakra tut gaya) “ was written by Dr. Gulati himself in 1996. Dr. Dr. Gulati has successfully shifted the work of getting the birth and death registration from the Police Department to the Health Department and distributed 28 lakh certificates for free. Birth Registration in Haryana increased from 14 percent to 98 percent in the year of 2001. Ten major works suggested by Dr. Gulati as Director of Census of India have been started by the present Union Government. Providing documents of their housing to all the families living within 'Lal Dora' under the 'Swamitava' scheme is also one of the ten major works.
The scanning 20 million forms of the Census of India in the period of 16 months only was done as a pilot project first time in the world on the initiative of Dr. Gulati. Dr. Gulati was also awarded a medal by the President for this work. During the Census of India in 2001, the 36000 peoples were trained in Haryana and the quality of data of Haryana was ranked the best in India after Kerala. Providing amounts of social security pension schemes directly to their bank accounts of beneficiaries was successfully implemented.
The proposal for the use of CSR Funds was also prepared by Dr. Gulati, which was inaugurated by the Chief Minister. The efforts of Dr. Gulati resulted in the transfer of 36,00 acres and to Civil Asian Hub, Hisar. Dr. Gulati also implemented to reduce sess on the milk and the one-time settlement.
The efforts of Dr. Gulati to free the wood industry from license resulted in increase in the prices of Safeda and Papler woods.
Important contributory work done by Dr. Gulati to establish the Haryana Animal Husbandry Department the first place in the country.
Has been contributing In Haryana, a worldwide vaccination campaign was carried out to protect the animals from the disease of HS & FMD. and hoarding. As a result, no HS & FMD infected animals found in Haryana in the year 2019. In the same order, 2 lakh 25 thousand animals were covered under insurance scheme, which was the insurance of the largest cattle group in the world.
Dr. Gulati also contributed significantly to introduce the Kissan Credit Card. Dr. Gulati's efforts started the ' Har Pashu ka Dhyan App'
by collecting the complete information of 52 lakh animals of Haryana. In Haryana, under the Animal Registration Certification and Breed Regulation Act, registration of 01 lakh animals was done. Livestock Drug Bank and Animal Health Welfare Committee for animals was started in every veterinary hospital. 4,000 employees were trained to treat the animals with the Ayurvedic system.
With the efforts of Dr. Gulati, 150 veterinarians were trained for stem cell treatment of animals. Started production of silage and azolla in Haryana. He paved the way for making Haryana a pioneer in animal genetics by setting up sexed semen and IVF plants. Prepared a plan for natural execution of dead animals by fishes by constructing ponds.
