17,378 ‘Happiness Kits' for Covid-19 food relief effort

In order to aid the mid-meal beneficiaries during the Covid-19 pandemic that has disrupted ongoing child welfare activities and aggravated malnutrition crisis, Newgen Software, a global provider of digital automation platform, teamed up with The Akshaya Patra Foundation to provide mid-day meals and happiness kits, worth around Rs 1 crore to 17,378 children in Vrindavan, Lucknow and Jhalawar. Priyadarshini Nigam, head of corporate communications, Newgen Software, said, "This collaboration supports our vision of ensuring the holistic development of children."
