Except Shahdol and Jabalpur divisions witnessed rainfall in the past 24 hours while other divisions remained dry. The regions which witnessed rainfall were Katni and Dindori which recorded 2 cm of rainfall, Rehli, Rajnagar, Umaria, Khajuraho, Nowgong and Chattarpur recorded 1 cm of rainfall each in the past 24 hours.
State capital recorded day temperature at 40 degree Celsius in Wednesday. The night temperature was recorded at 23.6 degree Celsius.
The temperatures would be witnessed around same level on Thursday.
Among the nearby regions Raisen recorded day temperature at 39.8 degree Celsius and night temperature at 28.5 degree Celsius.Shajapur,
Ratlam and Khandwa recorded day temperature over 41 degree Celsius while Khargone recorded day temperature at 42 degree Celsius which was the highest day temperature of the state.Warning of thundery activities and strong winds have been issued for Sidhi, Singrauli, Annuppur, Dindori, Chhindwara, Seoni, Balaghat, Mandla, Hoshangabad and Betul districts.
The temperatures would not witness significant change in the next 24 hours. According to the forecast in the next 3-4 days thundery activities and strong winds would be witnessed in few parts of the state while most of the parts of the state would witness hot and humid conditions.
The forecast claims Sidhi, Singrauli, Annuppur, Dindori, Chhindwara, Seoni, Balaghat, Mandla, Hoshangabad and Betul districts would witness thunder lighting and thunder showers.
