Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the efforts to control corona in the State are becoming successful. The State Mantralaya, Satpura, Vindhyachal and other state-level offices will start working from April 30 amidst full caution, social distancing with 30 percent officers-employees.
Chouhan said all possible measures have been taken to control corona. Teams of officials will visit severely affected districts and see all aspects. These teams will camp in the districts and also assist the local administration in determining the arrangements related to control, treatment of Corona virus and lockdown after inspection.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that this is a good sign that the number of Corona positive patients in the state is decreasing. In addition, the number of people being discharged from hospitals has also increased. Patients are recovering while the mortality rate has also reduced. We are constantly moving ahead, while controlling Corona with public assistance. Now 4000 tests are being conducted daily in Madhya Pradesh, which is more than the national average.
Testing work has gained momentum due to availability of adequate number of testing kits. Public support has helped in controlling the virus in such high-risk zones, where more positive cases have been found.
The Chief Minister said that economic activities will be conducted in limited areas in accordance with the statement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi “Jaan bhi hai, jahan bhi hai”.
Adequate employment opportunities will be provided to labourers in MNREGA and other works along with the commencement of economic activities in the green zone. Availability of adequate employment opportunities will be ensured continuosly.Chief Minister Chouhan said that the work of record procurement of 23 lakh metric tonnes of wheat has been completed in the state. Farmers have minimum support price as cover.
