The closing ceremony of vigilance awareness week celebrations was organized at CCL HQ, Ranchi. CMD CCL PM Prasad along with Director Tech (P&P) Bhola Singh, Director (Fin) N.K Agarwal, Director (Personal) Vinay Ranjan, CVO S.K.Sinha graced the occasion. The ceremony was also attended by General Managers/HoDs of various departments and the officers from different areas of CCL who played an active role in the observance of the week.

Vigilance awareness week 2020 was observed in CCL from 27/10/2020 to 02/11/2020. A plethora of activities were organized at CCL HQ and the different operational areas during this period to create awareness amongst the stakeholders.

Speaking on the occasion Prasad congratulated the vigilance department for successfully organizing the week. He said that the company is committed towards ensuring transparency and systematic improvement in its operations.  He reiterated that corruption is a menace to society which can be eliminated by cumulative efforts. Director Personal Vinay Ranjan said that the theme of this year Vigilance awareness week Satark Bharat, Samriddh Bharat (Vigilant India, Prosperous India) holds true at the company level also. He added that if the employees are vigilant then only the company will prosper. He said that the company will continue working towards strengthening the internal processes for improving efficiency.

Director Technical (P&P) Bhola Singh said that probity and honesty should strive to attain the highest degree of probity and integrity in life. Director (Finance)  N.K Agarwal said that people should always be vigilant in decision making.

CVO S.K.Sinha briefed everybody present about the different programs organized during the week. He expressed delight at the level of participation of the employees and the stakeholders in the various programs. He said CCL is the first company were all weigh Bridges are integrated.

The winners of the different competitions organized at CCL Hq. were awarded on this occasion. The officers of different operational areas who played a major role in organizing the week in their respective areas were felicitated on the occasion by the dignitaries.

GM (Vigilance) A.K.Singh along with other employees of the vigilance department played an important role in the success of the ceremony. He appreciated the work of Nodal Officer of each area for smoothly conducting various activities during ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’.
