The Chief Engineer, Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Sunil Tiwari took charge of Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Limited on Monday. He would serve the company for three years. After taking charge of the Managing Director of the Power Transmission Company, Tiwari said that as per the plans of the government to provide 10 percent power supply for agricultural work and round the clock for light with robust transmission system, the company's target is fulfillment to set targets and moderation in work will be his top priority.
Sunil Tiwari has been working in different capacities in Madhya Pradesh Electricity Board and Power Transmission Company for almost 38 years. He has vast experience in project implementation, planning, procurement, maintenance and construction of transmission lines, sub station maintenance, communication and human resources. He was the managing director of the power transmission company and the executive assistant to the member of the power division for nearly ten years.
Tiwari has done BE from Government Engineering College Jabalpur in the year 1982. In 1989, he received Diploma in Management from Indira Gandhi Open University and LLB degree from Rani Durgavati University in 1990. In the year 2005 he passed the Accredited Energy Auditor of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency.
