Intternational Day of Peace was observed by youngsters of the city. A plantation drive was carried out on Monday.

Plantation for Peace planted more than 20 trees on a Community Supported Agriculture land managed by Anant Mandi in Bhopal.
Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. The theme of the International Day of Peace 2020 is “Shaping Peace Together.” The main idea behind this theme is to spread hope, kindness and compassion amidst the global coronavirus pandemic.
The day began with Plantation for Peace on a property in Neelbad, Bhopal.
This land is being managed by the youth initiative ANANT Mandi for the Community Supported Agriculture experiment, it is an alternative socioeconomic model of agriculture and food distribution that allows the producer and the consumer to share the risks of agriculture.
Before the plantation, everyone sang the song of Jai Jagat. With the goal of contributing to our country's Green Drive, traversing global warming and thus reducing its impact on climate change, and ultimately presenting a better environment for the next generation, the team planted more than 20 trees.
Along with PV Rajagopal were present equal rights activist Ms. Kumud Singh, senior journalist Mr. Sunil Gupta, Gandhian thinker Mr. Arun Dhayanak, Ekta Parishad national coordinator Mr. Aneesh Thillenkery and a group of young people associated with Anant Mandi and Go Rurban.
The Eminent Gandhian and Founder of Ekta Parishad PV Rajagopal began a day long fasting on the International Day of Peace from 6 am which continued until 6 pm. He shared that his fast is to give the government the courage to dialogue and make decisions that are of interest to the poorest in this country. He also extended his solidarity with the ongoing farmers movement in the country.
