Observing World Music Day the little dhrupad artists won hearts of music lovers.An online Dhrupad Performance was held by Dhrupad Music Foundation, observing World Music Day. As many as 11 Dhrupad singers gave sponteneous performance.

Little Dhrupad Singers - Child music for ages 6 to 14 performed melodious performances of Dhrupad and Dhamar in different ragas at the 2020 Music Concert.

Shreyanshi Pahava has Rag Rahevi, Phalguni Purohit has Bhimpalasi, Chaudhary Sisters have Rag Haasandhwani, Ahana has Rag Bageshri, Arnav Khattar has Bhupali, Devanshi Tiwari has Raag Sohini, Vedhi Rao has Charukshi, Kushal Kasat has Raag Megh Neh, Rahil Introduced Dhrupada. At the same time, Vini Gupta won the hearts of online listeners by presenting her raagdari understanding by singing Nibhit Dhamar in Raag Yemen.The mentor and founder of Dhrupad Music Foundation, Makund Dev, told that this music concert has been organised every year in Gurukul with Little Dhrupad Singers.

This year due to Corona, this music gathering was organised as a Facebook Live concert. Due to the lock down, these children prepared ragas and restrictions under the guidance of Guru only by staying online. He also told that this year, this concert was dedicated to PadmaShri Ramakant Gundecha.

 It is noteworthy that Makund Dev is a senior disciple of the great Dhrupad singer Padmashree Gundecha Bandhu and is studying music under the Guru-disciple tradition.

This programme was presented in two parts.At 5 pm, Mukund Dev shared information about Dhrupad Sangeet and the objectives of Little Dhrupad Singers in a talk show. Its moderator was Vinod Gupta. Later, these 11 young artists performed divine singing of Dhrupad.
