A bloggers meeting was organised by UNICEF, Madhya Pradesh and DAVV School of Journalism and Mass Communication today which had participation of around 84 social media bloggers and players.
They were oriented on the theme of World Children's day and child rights and how this year around the themes of climate change and impact of Covid-19 on children, while GoBlue and Take Over remained as overarching theme, and we can use this as an opportunity to give a platform to children.
Communication Specialist, UNICEF, Madhya Pradesh Anil Gulati and Idhries Ahmad, Communication Officer, UNICEF India intercated with participants.
A presentation on two theme and what can bloggers do, with ideas was made to them and they were shared with various materials which they could use for marking World Childrens Day.
DayaShankar Mishra Executive Editor, News 18 said that we will support the process and provide space for children issues, Praveen Singhal of Stage, Advocate Anand Sharma, and other social media influencers said that as part of their commitment they will on the day give space and platform to children. Dr Sonalee Nargunde, Head of Department of Journalism and Mass Communication shared that they are going blue in coming days and will also do publications on two themes and will be part to raise discourse on the theme of climate change.
