A newly-wed youth was beaten to death at Dakhinabada village under the Dhamnagar police limits in Bhadrak district on Friday evening.
The deceased was identified as Satyajit Panda (22). Preliminary reports said he was murdered over previous enmity. He was rescued in a critical condition and rushed to District Headquarters Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.Police started an investigation into incident and efforts were on to nab assailants.Satyajit had tied the nuptial knot only 15 days ago.
