Miscreants held for burglary bid at SBI Sultania Road branch

Shahjehanabad police have booked a miscreants for attempting burglary at SBI Sultania road branch; staff came to know about the break-in on Monday after the branch was opened.

A failed attempt of burglary was reported at State Bank of India Sultania road in which one of the miscreants was spotted in the CCTV footage grabs checked in the investigation by the police.

In the initial investigation police have found a man roaming inside the bank in the CCTV footages at the time when the incident occurred.  The miscreant entered the bank by removing the air conditioner board but failed to burgle anything from the bank.

Police said that in the morning on Monday after the bank staff came to work they found the breaking and informed the police.Police suspect that the miscreant was not alone and he was accompanied with others but they are not spotted in the CCTV footages.

A complaint was made by the bank employee Arjun Singh Bisht regarding the attempt of burglary and based on the complaint police have registered case.The details of the man would be collected to establish identity.

The miscreants tried to break the locks and lockers would be investigated in the further investigation.Meanwhile, a garment shop was targeted by miscreants at Centre Point and escaped with garments; TT Nagar police have started investigation.

Police said that the victim Pramoj Jain found that lock of the door of his shop was broken and goods were found burgled.A complaint was lodged with the TT Nagar police on April 21 by the victim stating in which he said that he found that the lock of the shop was broken and on entering the shop, cash was found stolen.

After the preliminary investigation, the police have registered a case under section 457 and 380 of the IPC. The nearby CCTV camera footages would be checked in the further investigation said police.

Police said that he left the shop after closing at around 11 in the night on Monday and when he returned to open shop on Tuesday it was found targeted by miscreants and cash was found burgled.
