A man and his grandson were killed when the motorcycle by which they were travelling was hit by a truck on NH-20 near Barapada Chhak under the Anandpur police limits in Keonjhar district on Friday.The deceased were identified as Kirtan Nath and his grandson Keshav of Haripur village in the district. The truck ran over the two after hitting the motorcycle. They were rushed to the Anandapur hospital, where doctor declared them dead.
Police seized the truck and detained its driver for questioning. Further investigation was underway.
