Bhavani Shankar Giri, a well-known literary talent of Mayurbhanj district, has been recently given the prestigious "Literary Excellency Award 2020".
He has been chosen for the same by the "Suryodaya Literary Foundation" (SLF), an international literary organisation.
This has created a positive and encouraging atmosphere among the literature-lovers of the district.A total of 100 best Literary Talents from 25 different countries were picked up by the Foundation for the coveted award this year, and Giri of Mayurbhanj was one among them.
Giri, who is presently serving as a teacher in the backward Bijatala Block of Mayurbhanj, is acclaimed here as an accomplished writer, and has the distinction of winning many other laurels in the past.
