A musical event of mild and tuneful ragas ‘Gamak’ was organized for the music lovers of the city on Tuesday. Renowned classical singer Kalapini Komkali presented a wonderful show.
In the presence of a limited audience at the Muktakash Manch of Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum, the Director of Culture, Madhya Pradesh inaugurated the event.
In the activity, Kalapini Komakali - Dewas, daughter of well-known classical singer Pandit Kumar Gandharva - Dewas, started singing in a traditional song. She began with 'Bhara Rasiya' in Raga Shyam Kalyan, followed by 'Saavan Ki Saanjh', Raag Puriya Dhanshri 'respectively.
Kalpani Komkali received music education from her father and is a singer of Hindustani music. Kalpani Komkali has made her singing performances at various art forums in the country
She presented bandish and stopped singing the post of Nirgun. Vivek Vansod with Harmonium on stage, Pawan Sen on Tabla, Vaidehi Vyasa and Chirayu Rajak on Tanpura.
