The Jharia Rehabilitation and Development Authority( JRDA) has decided to relocate about 585 families from underground fire hit locations to newly constructed houses at Belgharia colony.
The decision was taken by deputy commissioner Uma Shankar Singh who also happens to be managing director of the JRDA. Singh inspected the locations and visited the old township to get first hand knowledge of the problems being faced by the people who were relocated earlier.
The families have been already identified and those would be shifted within the next three days.
