The Brahmapur police on Friday busted a Indian Premier League (IPL) betting racket by arresting two persons in this connection.
The cops also seized cash, mobile phones and ATM cards during the raid“On the basis of reliable inputs regarding IPL betting, a team led by the Brahmapur SP carried out raids and arrested two persons identified as R Lalie Achary and K Prasant Kumar Subudhi. Rs 33.61 lakh cash, four cell phones and three ATM cards were seized from their possession,” Southern Range DIG, Satyabrata Bhoi said.
