The Chhattisgarh State Power General Co Ltd (CSPGCL) Hasdeo Bango hydel project at Korba has created a record in maximum monthly power generation by producing 87.7 million units for August 2020.
This is the recorded highest ever monthly power generation by this plant.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has congratulated CSPGCL Chairman Subrat Sahoo, Managing Director N.K. Bijoora and their team for the achievement at a time when the state is going through a crisis due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Bijoora said the hydel project also achieved the rare feat of 98.278 percent Capacity Utilisation Factor (CUF), which is the highest CUF in the last 25 years for the hydro plant.
