Ganga Ram Hospital’s OPD services to resume from July 1

Three months after it closed amid the Covid-19 lockdown, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SGRH) will resume OPD (Outpatient Department) services from July 1 while taking precautions.

Dr D S Rana, Chairman (BoM) of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SGRH) said that OPD services will function from 8 am to 8 pm as they were functioning during pre-lockdown times.

“Although our OPD services will be normal but still we have undertaken sufficient precautions to safeguard the health of patients. All our OPD chambers are located in the Green Covid Safe Zone,” he said.

Dr Rana said that the hospital will undertake all standard safety protocol measures which will be strictly followed keeping in mind the safety of our esteemed patients and their attendants. "Our hospital will ensure best Infection control measures and Safe Environment to protect the health of our patients in Covid era,” he said.

SGRH is a leading private facility in the national capital with 675 beds. On June 4, the Delhi government had declared it a COVID-19 facility and asked it to reserve 80 per cent of the beds for coronavirus patients.
