Chique — a fast growing Indian brand in women’s apparel launched its first exclusive store in Ranchi on Friday. Located at Kanke Road beside the Indian Oil petrol station, the franchise is owned by the couple Shriya and Rohit Modi.
The standalone store offers a wide range of indo-western as well as Indian wear including salwaar suits, printed kurtis that can be easily paired with a pair of leggings, jeggings or straight fit pants.
Customers can also choose from short kurta style shirts, embroidered shirts, capes, tunics and high low outfits with sixes starting from extra small to extra large.
“On shifting to Ranchi from Mumbai a few years back post marriage, I felt there was a dearth of aesthetically pleasing clothes especially for women. Keeping the price conscious City in mind I decided to get Chique here. I personally like the clothes offered by the brand and strongly feel that if one wears their outfits once, they will come back for more. The fabrics are extremely comfortable and look dressy and classic when worn. The response received on the first day has been absolutely overwhelming,” said Shriya.
For fashion savvy Ranchiites, the store offers a wide range of work wear, casual wear, evening wear and occasion wear with prices beginning at Rs 1,500 and going up to Rs 8,000. The brand offers clothes in premium quality fabrics like pure cotton, cotton- silk, pure silk, pure georgette and chanderi to name a few.
“I have seen people from Ranchi going to metropolitan cities for shopping. It was then that the idea of opening a store struck me. Since we are in the midst of a pandemic, the store is being sanitised regularly while the clothes are being steam ironed before being displayed. All other necessary precautions are being adhered to,” added the budding entrepreneur.
Spread over an area of 600 square feet, the store will be open from Monday- Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm.
