The organizers of the Ravana Dahan Program Committee, which has been held for years at the Dussehra Grounds and Karthik Mela Grounds in Ujjain on Saturday, gave a joint press briefing about the Ravana Dahan program to be held in the Corona period and appealed to the people to symbolically organize and do not participate in the Ravana effigy burning programs to prevent the corona epidemic. The organizers also informed that these symbolic events of Ravana Dahan events will be broadcast live so that people can enjoy Ravana Dahan programs from home.
The two big events in the city are in memory of two personalities of the city. At Dussehra ground event is organized in memory of Lala Amarnath Khatri in Ujjain which is being organized for the last 75 years.
At the same Karthik Mela ground, a program of Ravana effigy burning is organized in the memory of former Mayor Prem Narayan Yadav. On Saturday, Om Prakash Khatri and Chetan Yadav of Ravan Dahan Program Committee jointly gave information about organizing Ravan Dahan program by holding press conference.
