A Round Table Conference will be organized by Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (MAPCST) at 10:30 am on Sunday at Hotel Palash Residency. Minister of Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises and Science and Technology Om Prakash Sakhlecha will be the chief guest at the conference.
The theme of the conference is “Role of Science and Technology Institutions in the Development of State: Way Forward for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh”.
The main objective of the Round Table Conference is to expand the micro, small and medium enterprises sector, enhance income in various sectors and improve the quality of the product. Director General of the Council, Anil Kothari informed that Directors, Chairmen, Vice Chancellors of various Universities, Managing Directors and Chief Executive Officers of various scientific institutions have been invited to the conference for brainstorming and inputs.
These inputs will be used to prepare the future roadmap for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh through science and technology. He informed that an overview of the activities of micro, small and medium enterprises will be presented by MAPCST by Science and Technology, MAP IT by Information Technology and MSME.
The conference will be organized under the joint aegis of Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology Council (MAPCST) and Vigyan Bharati (Department). The second session will focus on the expression of interest for collaborative efforts.
On this occasion, Minister of Science and Technology, Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Om Prakash Sakhlecha, National Organising Secretary of Vigyan Bharati, Jayant Sahastrabuddhe, Science and Technology Secretary M. Selvendran, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Secretary Vivek Kumar Porwal will also be present.
