Appreciating the ‘Padhai Tuhar Dwar’, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said Wednesday that it has come as a link with school going children for continuing education during Covid-19. The programme has won kudos across the country.
Baghel was holding a review meeting at his official residence. The scheme was launched on April 7, said an official release.
Earlier, it was run online but in rural and remote areas due to lack of Internet and Android mobile phones, the programme was extended through offline. The programme of ‘Padhai Tuhar Para’ (Streets) and ‘Bultu App’ was developed.
These efforts were welcomed by the Prime Minister and NITI Ayog along with educationists.
Under the programme, 2.2 lakh teachers and 23.13 lakh students have been registered. Around 31,792 study materials have been uploaded. Offline classes are being taken by 22,771 teachers and ‘Shiksha Sangwari’ covers 7.60 lakh students.
