A state-level e-mega camp will be organized on October 31 in the Raipur court to help people became aware about welfare schemes and programmes of the Chhattisgarh government.
The event has been organized by the Chhattisgarh State Legal Services Authority and the Raipur District Legal Services Authority, a press release said on Wednesday.
A meeting in this regard was attended by District Judge Ramkumar Tiwari, Collector Dr S Bharathi Dasan and other officials.
A district level committee has been constituted by the Raipur Collector for conducting the programme, the release added.
The Collector has asked the committee to coordinate with the Secretary of the Raipur District Legal Services Authority to ensure the implementation of the schemes.
Legal Services Authority Secretary Umesh Upadhyay said the first session will be telecast live from the Chhattisgarh High Court in Bilaspur at 10:30 am.
The programme will be inaugurated by the Executive Chairman of the State Legal Services Authority, Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra, he said.
The event to be held in the district court will also be broadcast via e-platform. The programme will be telecast live in almost 100 schools along with subordinate courts of Raipur district.
The programme will mainly focus on poverty alleviation schemes.
