Stating that the Uttarakhand chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat allowed the demolition of religious and commercial structures during the recent anti-encroachment drive in the name of High Court orders rather than taking concrete decisions for local businessmen like he did for himself by approaching the Supreme Court, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) accused him of being insensitive and selfish.
The state spokesman of AAP, Ravindra Anand said that the present state government is greedy for position and power but does not want to work for people and their welfare. He added that the BJP government just talks about zero tolerance on corruption but does not seem to pursue it.
