A total of 113 corona positive patients recovered and happily returned to their home on Saturday. They include 55 patients from RD Gardi Medical College, 56 patients from Police Training Center and two patients from Indore.
In the presence of senior officers in RD Gardi and PTS, the patients who were cured were greeted with drums in a jovial atmosphere and sent home. People going home after treatment from RD Gardi Medical College were presented bouquets by Divisional Commissioner Anand Kumar Sharma, IG Rakesh Gupta, Collector Ashish Singh and Superintendent of Police Manoj Singh.
Winning the battle from RD Gardi and the Corona from Police Training School, people going to their homes were greeted by senior officials. Divisional Commissioner Anand Kumar Sharma inquired about their well being and informed about the facilities provided to him in RD Gardi and PTS.
Divisional commissioner and IG also instructed people to stay at home for the next 7 to 14 days as a precaution and follow social distancing.
Collector Ashish Singh said that Saturday was a good day for Ujjain that 113 Corona positive patients of the district recovered and returned to their homes.
The collector said that the recovery rate in Ujjain district has gone above 60 percent.
The Collector said that whatever hotspot is in Ujjain district, now corona positive patients are coming out less.
He said that the continuous survey conducted by the survey team in the district is identifying the suspected patients of Corona and their samples are being taken.The collector said that due to early identification of corona patients, their treatment is also starting soon, due to which the recovery rate has improved.
Nodal officers SS Rawat, Dr Sudhir Gawarikar, Dr Sudhakar Vaidya and others were present on this occasion at RD Gardi Medical College.
On the occasion at PTS, people going to their homes thanked the administrative officers and doctors and clapped in honor of Corona Warriors. During this time, senior officers were also sent away for their homes with a thunderous applause, encouraging the people to remain healthy.
A person from Ujjain said that the doctors were ready to serve him day and night. During treatment, he and everyone else in the PTS were taken care of.
