Informed sources said that the Bengaluru-bound cargo flight, ET-690, was diverted to Mumbai after it suffered a hydraulic leakage.

The flight with eight-member crew landed safely at the Mumbai airport, after the authorities declared a full emergency after keeping the Mumbai Fire Brigade, ambulances with medical teams standby.

“Full Emergency was declared for freighter flight ET690 Ethiopian airlines from Riyadh to Bangalore diverted to Mumbai due to hydraulic leakage. The aircraft landed safely.  No one suffered injuries, “ an airport official said.

After the emergency was withdrawn, normal operations resumed at the city airport in the afternoon. Meanwhile, the aircraft is currently parked at the airport where technical and engineering teams are attending to the technical problems faced by it.
