A workshop on educating and empowering rural India through innovation and EDP training on solar lamp was conducted at Neelachal Industrial Training Centre, Danagadi, in association with the Freedom on Wednesday under the chairmanship of its advisor Bikali Charan Rout.
‘Udayabata’ editor Dushmanta Kumar Rout attended it as chief guest and advised the ITI students and technical teachers to produce energy from waste materials, preserve energy and use eco friendly solar lamp which is very useful for students.
Freedom director Ramakanta Panda attended as chief speaker and BJP Zilla Parishad candidate Pramod Kumar Nayak, Upendranath Mohanty, Ramakanta Samal, scribe Biswa Ranjan Pattanayak attended as guests. They spoke about the usefulness of solar lamp.
ITC staff Biswajit Sahoo, M Karan, Sisir Panigrahi managed the camp. Principal of the ITC Pratyush Das gave vote of thanks. About 100 students attended the workshop and took training.
