A Rajya Puraskar testing camp for Guides of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) Bhubaneswar region was inaugurated by Kendriya Vidyalaya No.6 Principal SK Dash in the school premises here recently.
As many as 151 Guides from different schools of the Bhubaneswar region participated in the camp along with 35 Guides Captain (Escort Teachers) and KVS five officials Harapriya Behera (Leader of Course), B Sashikala, Sabita Murmu, SP Mishra and Jasobanti Pattnaik.
KV Coordinator JK Sisugoswami welcomed the guides and officials and highlighted the motto Guides propounded by the KVS.
Dash advised the cadets to follow the spirit of scout and guides movement in letter and spirit and understands the value of the movement.
He also urged the participants to work for the nation with dedication remembering the ethos ‘Service for Mankind is Service to God.’
Among others, KVS Bhubaneswar Region ALT Scout and Guides Trainer Minaketan Panda was present.
