City’s leading health hub, Tata Motors Hospital is gearing up to add new facilities to cater to the growing needs of the patients. On the occasion of Doctors’ Day, the senior management of the hospital interacted with media and shared their future plans.
Dr Sanjay Kumar, head medical services, Tata Motors said that they are working on a project to increase Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds from eight to 20 beds.
Moreover, Dialysis units will be increased from seven to 12 beds. The hospital will also add new male medical ward.
“These projects are part of our ongoing expansion plans. We are confident of completing these projects in next four months. Tata Motors Hospital recently also opened the doors to a new state-of-the-art facility eye-operation theatre. The facility is catering to the employees and also to the local residents.
Dr Kumar added that the eye-operation theatre enables the hospital to offer the best and the latest in technology. All the components of the theatre system are fully integrated and designed to carry out advanced surgeries with a quality which can be benchmarked with any international standard.
Tata Motors Hospital is a 404 bedded multi-specialty hospital in Jamshedpur, which was established in 1968. This hospital has been continuously striving to offer the highest standard of services to patients with great empathy and humanity.
“We have a wonderful team of doctors in all departments who give the best possible clinical care to our patients. We have state-of-the-art Pathological and Radiological units having equipment like 3/5 part Hematology Analyzer, Color Doppler, CT scan etc. to support our clinicians,” noted the head.
