The South Eastern Railway on Tuesday notified cancellation of several passenger trains in view of the ongoing modernisation and safety related work in its various railway sections.
Kolkata-based headquarters of South Eastern Railway informed that the Tatanagar-Bilaspur Passenger will remain cancelled from March 1 to March 14 while the Bilaspur- Tatanagarw Passenger will not run between March 2 and March 15.
The Tatanagar - LTT Antyodaya Express will remain cancelled on March 3 , 7, 10 and 14 while the return train will remain cancelled on March 5, 9, 12 and 16.
The Sambalpur-Rourkela Passenger will remain cancelled from February 20 till March 14 while the Rourkela-Jharsuguda Passenger remained cancelled today ( February 19). The train ( Rourkela-Jharsuguda Passenger) will remain cancelled till March 14.
The Jharsuguda-Sambalpur Passenger will remain cancelled from tomorrow till March 14. The Santragachi-Chennai Antyodaya Express will remain cancelled for a single day on March 11. The return train (Chennai-Santragachi Antyodaya Express ) will remain cancelled on March 14.
The Hazur Sahib Nanded-Santragachi Express which travels via Tatanagar railway station will remain cancelled on March 4 and 11 while the Santragachi–Hazur Sahib Nanded Express will remain cancelled on March 6 and 13.
The Howrah-CSMT (Mumbai) Express will remain cancelled on March 1 and 8 while the return train will remain cancelled on March 3 and 10.
Tatanagar Railway Station witnesses a daily traffic of over 90- mail, express and passenger trains which either originate from Tatanagar of go via that station. The daily passenger footfall is close to 60,000.
