Sunday, 04 August 2019 | PNS | Ranchi

About 120 issues were registered by stakeholders hailing from different districts of Jharkhand who aired their grievances before CCL CMD Gopal Singh during monthly public-interaction programme i.e, “Kayakalp Samadhan Sabha (KSS)” today. With the success of first KSS on July 06, new hope has instilled among stakeholders, who came to register their complaints in respect to compassionate employment, job against land, non-payment of dues etc. Most of the complaints of previous KSS have been solved in a time-bound manner and complex issues are being further examined by the management.

On every first Saturday of every month, KSS is being organized in which stakeholders can directly interact with the higher management to resolve their pending issues.

CMD CCL Gopal Singh, member of CCL Board Dr. Subhu Kashyap, members of JCSC, Welfare Board and Safety Board were present. All areas GMs were also connected through a video conferencing. Altogether 25 individuals were handed over employment letter against death and land during the program by dignitaries including CMD, CCL.

In his address, Singh said that the company is committed to resolve issues of stakeholders on time-line. He further said that proper technical training will be given to the fresh recruits and according to their skills and interest; they will be engaged in different mining activities.

He directed all GMs and Project Officers of Areas to discuss the issues of stakeholders and solve as per norms. Kashyap said that this is unique initiative by CCL aiming to facilitate the grievance redressal processes in a time-bound manner.

Kayakalp Samadhan has been conceptualised by Singh to facilitate the grievance redressal processes in a time-bound manner.  Once complaints is registered at Area level or at Samadhan Centre, Darbhanga House, Ranchi, acknowledged is given to the complainant and within 30 days, reply is given whether their grievances can be solved as per norms of the company or if not then with valid justification.

Miss Rashmi Dayal, GM (Samadhan) co-ordinated and compered the programme. General Manager (P/IR) Umesh Singh, Sr Manager (Pers) Alok Gupta and others also played significant role in organizing the programme successfully.
