Illegally mined coal laden truck sized

The Nawadih police seized an illegally mined coal laden truck at Gujardih village area in Nawadih block of Bokaro district during routine police checking on Sunday night. The truck driver managed to flee from the spot. The consignment was brought from a Gujardih outsourcing mine area in Nawadih and was supposed to deliver in Dhanbad,said Officer in-Charge Anil Oraw here on Monday.

Police sources said that the truck (JH -V-5854) loaded with 15 tonnes of illegal coal was intercepted at the village between 9.45 pm to 10.30 pm on Sunday. The driver of the truck could managed to flee from spot after left his truck. The truck owner being verified from Bermo and is involved in illegal coal mining,” officer-in-Charge said.

A case under 379 of IPC was registered with Nawadih police Station in this connection.“The truck bearing registration number JH V 5854 did not also posses valid paper.
